Could you give more information, like your specs, OS etc. Also you should have a log file you can upload here, you can find it by right clicking on your game, and choose Open Folder -> Open Log Folder, it will helps us by providing more information about your issue.

Im having a similar issue , happened after the last say 5 or 6 updates . basically when you boot the game its often just pitch black , i close it , then reopen it and then it works normally , 60fps and everything . upon warping to the hunters dream or anywhere else for the first time that session there are vertex explosions around , multi-color almost pink textures and super nova bright lights . when enabling the enable readback option in "experimental " it works normally all be it at 29 fps . would you like my log file too ? ive got photos and videos of it happening.

im on the diegolix 0.10.1 build , with bbfork as an update channel .
